I would join this too, but I'm on week 5 already with some folks from FreshBooks.
After only about 2 - 2.5 you'll start feeling real strength gains... and your pecs will start filling in. Have fun guys and goodluck.
Either way, stoked to be starting today, once I get some work outta the way I'm gonna jump on the train, guessing I can do at least 5 good ones, we'll soon find out...
I dunno I did Day 1, Week 1 today 2/3/2/2/3 as regular pushups and did ok.
Just did Week 1, Day 2.. it was HARD. I'm sure my form was off but I did 10,12,8,8,12

I think I'm figuring out that I need to rock it and not do just the minimum in each set.

My initial test was 23. So, I screwed myself and had to start at Week Three.
Just did Week Three, Day Two. 14, 19, 14, 14, MAX (which was about 21).
Might have been able to do another 2 or 3, but wanted to build in the program a little more slowly. I haven't done any upper body work aside from occasional digging in the yard with a shovel for a long time.
Thanks for evening out the week Alan! Gunman, I think a few of us are regretting going for the gold on the initial test. I'll definitely take the next test a LOT easier.
For everyone doing this, yesterday killed, but today I feel fine.. I think it's because I stretched out a few times. Join your hands behind your back and raise them up as high as you can get them. Do this a few times and the post-workout day should be a little easier.
Better form, didn't hurt as much, but was still pretty hard. I had to break up my counting to 1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5 in order to trick myself.
Anyone else still doing this?
