    I hear you, this is going to be rough. I did squeeze out 15 pushups for my test, but not I'm afraid that trying to man-up on the test is going to bite me in the ass. I should have stayed in the left column.

    There is also a pushup logger associated with the original website, where you can configure it to tweet your updates. I imagine you can add the #hundredpushups tag in the "Comments" field, to help the tracking overall.

    I'm squarely in the middle list doing knee=pushups. Day one wasn't so bad, but I can definitely feel the protest in my shoulders. It's going to be a tough few weeks.

    I'm a girl and have always done "girl pushups". My initial test was 2 in a row. I am the lowest common denominator, and I don't know if I'll make it to 100, but I hope to make it to at least 50!

    I did fairly well on Day 1. Squeaked out 12 in my final set. I'm on the right column doing full pushups. I'm doing better than I thought. Reading through everybody elses comments, I'm feeling like a bad ass. But I'm really trying not to brag.

    You can do it V! 3 weeks down the line you'll be asking me to sit on your back while you do one-armed pushups.

    I would join this too, but I'm on week 5 already with some folks from FreshBooks.
    After only about 2 - 2.5 you'll start feeling real strength gains... and your pecs will start filling in. Have fun guys and goodluck.

    Wait you can do these as knee-pushups!? Maybe I should be doing that instead, then if I get to 100 start over again with regular ones?

    I dunno I did Day 1, Week 1 today 2/3/2/2/3 as regular pushups and did ok.

    Just did Week 1, Day 2.. it was HARD. I'm sure my form was off but I did 10,12,8,8,12

    yesterday was Week 1/Day 2 for me: 3/4/2/3/10
    I think I'm figuring out that I need to rock it and not do just the minimum in each set.
    DEFINITELY feelin the burn! This is awesome, thanks Jon, needed something like this to get motivated :)

    I'm doing it Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays - just to even out the week for you guys.

    My initial test was 23. So, I screwed myself and had to start at Week Three.

    Just did Week Three, Day Two. 14, 19, 14, 14, MAX (which was about 21).

    Initial exhaustion test: 15.

    Might have been able to do another 2 or 3, but wanted to build in the program a little more slowly. I haven't done any upper body work aside from occasional digging in the yard with a shovel for a long time.

    Thanks for the visuals CDX, my friend Marlene posted a video of herself doing her pushups with a small dog on her back.. I need to figure out how to get that off of Facebook.

    Thanks for evening out the week Alan! Gunman, I think a few of us are regretting going for the gold on the initial test. I'll definitely take the next test a LOT easier.

    For everyone doing this, yesterday killed, but today I feel fine.. I think it's because I stretched out a few times. Join your hands behind your back and raise them up as high as you can get them. Do this a few times and the post-workout day should be a little easier.

    Day 2 complete. 3,4,2,3 and max out at 10. All knee push ups. I need to do as many "real" ones as I can in the earlier sets. Found that going into the yoga/pilates child's pose is a good way to stretch out the shoulders between sets.

    Better form, didn't hurt as much, but was still pretty hard. I had to break up my counting to 1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5 in order to trick myself.

    Meh. Day 3. 4,5,4,4,9(max). Still on my knees with the pushups I think I'm gonna do Week 1 over again and shoot to do them on my feet.

    Week 2, Day 1 - On a 2 day delay, but will do Week 2, Day 1 tomorrow to catch up, then Day 3 on Saturday 14,14,10,10,15

    Got a few days behind this week, but Week 1 Day 2 ended up at 5,6,4,4, and max 13!! I've resigned to the fact I'm going to do most of this from my knees, but when it's over I'll start again with the full-form pushups.

    Loving the idea of a group challenge, it gives you even more incentive to meet the targets then just doing it on your own. Did everyone in the group manage to complete the challenge? I did mine a few months back but planning to start again to get that toned feeling back!
