I stayed here a few years back when living in venice. I was no older than 18 and a dirty ass kid who was on drugs and this place still grossed me out! We were staying in the 2 person rooms for $60 a night and paying ahead for the next night when we stayed…One night we came back at 2am from partying to find out that our room was given away to someone else, refunded our money and had no place to go at 2am in Venice.

Venice is an interesting place to visit when you're a tourist, during the day anyway.. at night that place is pretty sketchy, and from the looks of the place just walking by, the inside might not be too much better.

years ago I used to work at a Bar on the third street promenade for 5 years and all the tourists that came in and out of the hostles complained about price and conditions. I think most people get screwed cuz they book in advance and are from out of the country...from what I have heard hostels other places in the world are a lot nicer in comparison and a lot less expensive. Only crappy thin is your alternatives are still more expensive.

I don't usually do negative reviews, but I think I'll write about this, cause its so darn negative. If anyone has any more info, please add to the comments.
